My brother and I started BandSquad on the last day of my third grade school year. I asked my dad to drive me to the dollar store and used half of my piggy bank savings to buy the materials to make the first version of my bracelets. Business picked up fast and before we knew it, my brother and I had hired my grandma for marketing and my parents in key manufacturing and procurement roles. The orders began flooding in.
